New Child Care Tour Policy

According to health orders and licensing, we have to limit all non-essential visits. We only conduct one in person family tour on weekends. When parents come in that day, we have to conduct health screening. If parents answer “YES” to ANY of the 3 screening questions, they are not allowed to enter our location. When parents enter the facility, they are required to wear a face-covering (for adults) as required by the Health Order. We are required to keep a log of all persons present at tour.

If parents have traveled out of the San Francisco Bay Area in the last 14 days, and have conducted any higher-risk activities below:

• Spending time within 6 feet of people outside their household when not wearing face masks, especially if indoors.
• Travel on planes, buses, trains, or other vehicles shared with people outside their household when face coverings were not worn at all times by all passengers.

Basic on parents' responses, we determine if parents may fall in the higher risk category. We would recommend that we may do a virtual Zoom tour first and another follow up an in-person tour on another day.
