Program​

We carefully design and arrange our home-like learning environment for our young explorers. Children can feel safe and engage in the individualized hands-on activities, e.g. free play, kids yoga, reading moment, dance & music, and art craft etc. Also, we will have a spacious outdoor court yard.

Location

​Our facility is located at 48th Ave and Moraga St, steps away from Ocean Beach. The Outer Sunset neighborhood is a safe and diverse residential community.​

I believe it is one of the best experience in my son's life. Sally's daycare is very nurturing and loving. She provides as much organic food as she can. She is also very experienced and shares her tips in raising a toddler. The information is very precious to me as a new parent. She must cook very delicious food as my son ate so much at her place. She also offers variety of activities at her daycare to help my son to develop various areas. My son has no issue in adjusting to this daycare. Last week was my 2.5 year old last day with Sally, where she has been since she was 6 months old. When my daughter was 6 months, Sally would write down every bottle feeding, every wet diaper and nap schedule. As she got older, my daughter would literally rush out of the car and run to Sally, give her a hug and pull her up the stairs and act like she doesn't know me..and when I pick her up, she's always happy. She is always dancing and singing songs (in Chinese and English) and I know for sure she did not learn it at home. My daughter was able to count in English and Chinese and knew her alphabets and phonics at 1.5 years old. We have a very open communication with Sally and she's always telling me stories of my daughter at pickup. She would also give tips and suggestions on issues she thinks my daughter may be going through such as eczema and behavior problems. As the time came for my daughter to depart for preschool, Sally was able to assist my daughter in potty training. It's one thing to train at home but to have a home daycare actually enforce it makes a huge difference and my daughter was fully potty trained (with several accidents, even on Sally) in less than a month. My son has been under Sally's care for 4 months now and I cannot say enough good things about her! Every single time we pick up my son he is smiling, happy and giggling. I am convinced this is the best daycare in California. I have a hard time finding words to describe how much we love this daycare, program and Sally. I am taking the time to write this review for other Mom's our there who are trying to find the right daycare for their family as they approach the end of maternity leave and are panicked about what to do. My husband and I interviewed over 75 daycare providers in the city. We wanted a program were our son (who was 4months old entering daycare) would be cherished, loved and encouraged to learn and grow in a safe environment. We wanted an in-home daycare with fewer attendees, tons of personal attention and a focus on learning, growing and good social interaction. I was a nervous wreck going back to work- and Sally made this transition incredibly easy on me. Sally is an incredible part of my son's life, and my families life- she is an amazing person, teacher and care giver. The daycare itself is its own floor of Sally's home. There is no better chaperone for the growth and development of your child then an experienced, gifted teacher like Sally. As new parents, we learned things from Sally which has been an incredible and unpredicted part of joining this daycare. Sally is amazing with children, when you met her in person you can feel her confident and gentle approachable energy. All the kids and parents love Sally, and we all enjoy seeing the relationships our children are building with each other as they learn and grow together. She is so amazing with our son, his eyes light up when he sees her and starts giggling and wiggling with joy! It is so precious. Modern Education Family Childcare is amazing! Sally, Oscar and the entire staff that we have met thus far have been so friendly, patient, and caring! We came from an absolutely awful experience with another SF provider - and frankly were having doubts about letting our child back into any day care facility. We met with Sally and Oscar to tour the facility and how quickly they took to our little girl, and how quickly she took to them - was very reassuring! We are very happy with them - and our daughter is thrilled to go to Sallys every day! Sally meets us in the driveway and my daughter literally jumps into her arms with a laugh! The facilities themselves are great! The food they serve is healthy and my daughter seems to love it! The interaction between the kids, and the adults in fact, is so genuine and loving! It makes me tear up just thinking about it. They even set up an event for all their facilities to meet at a park, so the kids could play! It was wonderful! I cannot say enough good things about Sally and Modern Education Family Childcare III!!! If you are looking for a very caring Day Care facility full of joy and attentive providers - look no further!
